Aramid fibers consist of two main types of yams Nomex and Kevlar, with Nomex being a meta-aramid and Kevlar being a para-aramid. Aramids possess mechanical properties higher than steel wire or glass fibers on a weight basis, and they are composed of rigid polymer chains connected by benzene rings and amide bonds. Excellent resistance to low temperatures(-60℃) and high temperatures(350℃), with outstanding heat resistance at high temperatures. As a flame-retardant material, it has a high Limiting Oxygen Index(LOI) and excellent electrical insulation performance(up to 20kv/mm). Possesses resistance to acids and alkalis at room temperature, with a highly stable chemical structure. High resistance to ultraviolet rays and tear, as well as good weathering and abrasion resistance. Long lifespan and environmentally friendly, with no harmful components to the human body. |
